Leasing Coordinator

We are seeking an energetic professional for the position of Leasing Coordinator.

Job Summary : The Leasing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all vacant units are filled with eligibility applicants from the waiting list according to preference, date and time, in sequence order; the vacant units must maintain compliance with LIHTC, HOME, NSP, LIPH, PBRA Multifamily housing program rules and regulations when filling units.

Qualifications :

• The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree with two (2) years’ experience in Affordable Housing.
• Strong writing skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
• Strong math, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to conduct research, coordinate multiple projects, solve problems, prepare / update supporting documentation and maintain records.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team; exercise tact and diplomacy and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work under pressure and successfully meet deadlines.
• Excellent decision-making, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to interact and deal with a diverse client population.
• Demonstrated proficiency in PC-based computer applications.
• A valid drivers’ license with no more than 6 accumulated points in 3 consecutive years.
