Who is Nulixir?

Nulixir, a nano-biotechnology start-up, is a VC-backed business-to-business (B2B) company that develops, manufactures, and licenses intellectual property (IP) for smart nanocarriers, called nanovesicles, which optimize the performance of functional ingredients in food & beverage products. Nulixir, as the Function House, is revolutionizing the functional ingredient space by introducing a realm of functionality and shaping the future of intelligent food. This patented technology (70+ patents) has applications across multiple verticals in food and beverage (e.g., nootropics, energy stimulants, vitamins, probiotics, protein, etc.).

Founded in 2019, the company brought together a team of CPG leaders, cancer researchers, US attorneys, and nutritionists to overcome long-standing challenges in the Food and Beverage Industry. The firm's founder has extensive experience in the development of nanocarriers for cancer therapeutics.

In the past-year, Nulixir sales have grown ~8x with strong interest from small, mid-size and many large CPG companies to partner with Nulixir and incorporate the technology in their products. Nulixir boasts an impressive board of senior executives from companies like Pepsi, Danone, Mckinsey & Company, Paine Schwartz Partners, etc. The company currently has 30+ employees with a stellar executive team who come from food B2B companies such as ADM, Givaudan, Kerry, and ex-MBB consultants.

Position Overview :

Nulixir is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a pivotal role in expanding our high-performing Production Team. In this position, you will be at the forefront of identifying, attracting, and hiring top production talent to drive our growth and success. You'll collaborate closely with the CEO, COO, and CFO to understand their needs, craft compelling job postings, and develop innovative sourcing strategies to build a robust pipeline of exceptional candidates. From conducting interviews to providing an exceptional candidate experience, you'll ensure Nulixir continues to recruit the best and brightest in the industry. In this role, you will :

  • Identify, screen and assess talent for Nulixir.
  • Manage a high volume of candidates to proactively progress through the recruitment life-cycle
  • Coordinate and manage various interview processes across positions.
  • Use search techniques to target passive talent through social media, job boards, and external networks across multiple talent markets.
  • Seek innovative and creative strategies to identify candidates.
  • Provide high touch / top quality candidate experience
  • Capturing and reporting on findings and trends to Hiring Managers on candidate skills, talent pipelines, market demographics, fit and compensation.
  • Proactively create and maintain a pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Identify and attend industry specific events with the recruitment team.
  • Assisting with other HR / Onboarding / Recruitment related projects as needed.

Relevant Job Experiences, Skills, and Key requirements for this role :

  • 2 years recruitment experience required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bilingual; fluent in Spanish & English required
  • Time Management and Prioritization- Ability to manage multiple job openings and candidates simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Sourcing Expertise- Proficiency in using various tools, platforms, and strategies to identify and attract a high volume of qualified candidates (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, social media, referrals).
  • Candidate Relationship Management- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Adaptability- Flexibility to adjust to changing hiring needs, priorities, and unexpected challenges.
  • Attention to Detail- Accuracy in managing candidate data, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
  • Technology Proficiency- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR technologies, and external job boards / technologies to streamline recruitment workflows.
  • Effective Communication- Ability to convey the company's value proposition and job expectations clearly and persuasively to attract top talent.
  • Problem-Solving Skills- Creativity and resourcefulness in overcoming challenges like candidate shortages or difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Team Collaboration- Working effectively with hiring managers and HR teams to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
  • Pay Range :
  • $60 - $100K
