Workday Integrations and Reporting

Our client is looking for a Workday Integrations and Reporting Lead supports and enhances the institution's Workday environment across Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), and Student modules. This role is a key contributor to the university's ongoing Workday Student implementation , ensuring that academic, enrollment, and student services processes are accurately designed, integrated, and optimized. The developer must understand the full downstream impacts of configuration and integration decisions across the student lifecycle-including recruitment, admissions, academic records, registration, financials, and advising-to ensure reliable data flow and strong institutional outcomes. This role leverages Workday Reports, Extend, Prism Analytics, AI, and integrations (Core Connectors, EIBs, and Studio) to support Student Success and campus wide decision-making.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Customize and configure Workday applications to meet institutional requirements, with a specific focus on supporting the Workday Student implementation and its downstream impacts across academic and administrative processes.
• Develop and maintain Workday Extend solutions that enhance student services, academic operations, and Student Success initiatives.
• Coordinate and support integrations using Core Connectors, Studio, and EIBs, ensuring accurate and timely data flow between Workday and key campus systems (LMS, advising platforms, financial aid interfaces, CRM, identity systems, etc.).
• Partner closely with implementation teams to understand and manage the end-to-end impacts of changes across the student lifecycle-including curriculum, enrollment, grading, degree progress, billing, and compliance reporting.
• Provide system and end-user support across academic and administrative units; troubleshoot, test, and validate updates to ensure consistent day-to-day operations during and after the Student implementation.
• Document integrations, configurations, and technical specifications in alignment with higher-ed governance, audit, and data-security requirements.
• Create and maintain operational and analytical reports-especially those supporting enrollment management, retention, academic performance, advising, and other Student Success metrics.
• Collaborate with institutional stakeholders to communicate findings, project updates, downstream impacts, and recommendations for improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
