Overview :

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead their payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely processing for a high-volume, multi-state workforce. This role requires strong leadership experience, in-depth knowledge of UKG and ADP , and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for a large, multi-state employee population.

Lead and mentor the payroll team, ensuring efficient workflows and high accuracy.

Manage high-volume payroll processing using UKG and ADP systems.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Handle payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.

Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll issues and improve processes.

Drive continuous improvement in payroll procedures, internal controls, and data integrity.

Stay current on regulatory changes and payroll best practices.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred).

Prior payroll management / supervisory experience is required.

Strong working knowledge of UKG and ADP payroll systems.

Proven experience with multi-state payroll and high-volume processing .

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Strong communication and leadership skills.
