LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to collaborate with a leading organization in search of a Payroll Manager who will take ownership of payroll operations for both union and non-union employees across multiple states and entities.

We're looking for a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of union payroll practices, and a proven ability to manage complex payroll systems.

Location : Madison, NJ- Full time on site.

Temporary to Permanent Position

Compensation- $35-$40 / hr.

What You'll Do

• Lead the full-cycle payroll process for union and non-union employees, guaranteeing timely and accurate wage distribution.
• Interpret and apply Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and union policies to payroll calculations.
• Manage all payroll deductions, including union dues, taxes, benefits, and retirement contributions.
• Partner with union representatives and internal teams to maintain compliance and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and adherence to labor laws.
• Maintain accurate employee records and process onboarding / offboarding activities.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders, including tax filings and union reporting.
• Stay current on federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as union-specific requirements.
• Serve as the primary resource for payroll inquiries and resolve disputes professionally.

Pay Details : $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
