Facility : Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department

Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Start Date : November 11, 2025

End Date : February 10, 2026

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4-week schedule

Floating : May float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1890-$1940

ER RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan (MI) – required for Michigan nursing jobs

Minimum 1 year of recent Level I Trauma Emergency Room experience (2 years preferred)

Current and active certifications :

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

BLS (Basic Life Support) by AHA

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)

NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

EPIC EMR charting experience required

Travel nursing experience preferred (first-time travel nurses welcome)

Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays during contract

Ability to manage high patient ratios (1 : 5-6, up to 8 during peak times)

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients, including trauma, stroke, and cardiac cases

Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases

Administer blood products, IV vasopressors, and perform continuous / procedural sedation

Perform triage, phlebotomy, and manage central and arterial lines

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, social services, and more)

Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed

Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)

Complete orientation and required educational modules prior to start
