Position Overview
A fast-paced professional services environment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Administrative Coordinator to support a busy tax team. This temp-to-hire role offers the opportunity to contribute to administrative operations related to tax return processing, client onboarding, billing, and compliance, while building a long-term career in a dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a firm understanding of tax administration processes.
Key Responsibilities
Support the processing, delivery, and electronic filing of tax returns
Draft and finalize engagement documents
Assist with new client set-ups, billing, invoice inquiries, and expense reporting
Provide administrative support for tax software, tools, and systems
Help implement new tax standards and procedures
Monitor compliance with tax procedures and collaborate on best practices
Identify issues related to tax systems and recommend process improvements
Generate and analyze reports to support administrative processes
Build and maintain positive working relationships with tax and administrative professionals
Respond to inquiries regarding tax deadlines, forms, and related processes
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
Minimum Qualifications
Education :
High school diploma required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience :
3+ years in a tax administration or related administrative role
Prior experience in a professional services or corporate environment is required
Technical Proficiency :
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP or HRIS) is a plus
Pay Details : $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
