Project Manager For Industrial Engineering

The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
We are looking for a Project Manager with a focus on Industrial Engineering, to join our team. This role will be based in our Roebuck, SC manufacturing plant. The successful employee will have proven experience of running multiple projects. They will also display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and / or cross functional problems.
You'll make an impact by :
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, equipment layout and Material Flow.
- Assure product and process quality by designing manufacturing and / or testing methods; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
- Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
- Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Complete improvement projects by training and guiding technicians.
- Analyze production capacities to introduce new part numbers and consider all aspects required, Labor / tools / Equipment, Layout change etc.
- Be a driver to conduct 5S philosophy and Kaizen as Organizational Culture
Basic Qualifications :
A Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field3+ years of validated experience in manufacturing environment.3+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering.Project or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience with including time and motion to improve labor standards and production efficiency, ergonomics, safety, and productivity projects.Experience with Bill of Material structure to develop and ensure material presentation and efficient organized layout.Process mapping (including manufacturing and administrative / support) to identify potential improvements.Experience in Low-Cost project Automation and Dashboards implementation such as OEE, KPIs metrics SQDCI.Experience with plant and equipment layout and infrastructure and ability to create and document factory workstation / cell layouts.An ability to perform cost analysis such as return on investment to support improvements and investments such as CAPEX.Design of workstations / Material storage following ergonomic and safety standards, Kanban Methodology, Creative problem-solving skills (5 whys, Ishikawa Diagram)Technical Skills :Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.Preferred Qualifications :
