Associate Municipal Engineer

CME Associates is currently recruiting for an Associate Municipal Engineer to join their Municipal Engineering Department. This position is located in Parlin, NJ and offers a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Design and Drafting : Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D)
• Permitting and Compliance : Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Project Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
• Technical Reports : Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.
• Field Support : Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, verify design implementation, and resolve on?site issues as needed.
