Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist with food production for Cafe, Catering and Market
- Maintain quality control in all areas of food production
- Motivate, lead and direct staff
- Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly
- Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards
- Assist Chef / Owner and General Manager in all aspects of kitchen.
- Be a team player and excellent customer service
- Create new products and menu items seasonally
- Create daily specials a mitigate food waste
Qualifications
Experience working with food in commercial kitchenComfortable giving direction and redirectionPoised and confident, able to comfortably interact with clients and customersHigh familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelinesAble to delegate tasks effectively and assist when neededPhysically able to lift at least 50 pounds, bend, squat and stretch.Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volumeBanquet experience a plusWe are looking forward to receiving your application.
