Columbia Family Law Center, an established family law firm seeks a full-time entry level family law paralegal. On the job training available. Must have a Paralegal Certificate. Interns Must be associated with a Paralegal Program / School. Able to speak and write Spanish is a plus.
Our legal services include divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, property division, and domestic violence.

Qualifications :
- Experience working in family law a plus
- Proficient in Office 365, Outlook, and LegalPlus Software
- Familiar with state and local court rules and e-filing process in King, Pierce, Thurston and Snohomish Counties
- Remote work availability
- May be required to work from our Federal Way office at times
- Organized with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish is a plus
Job duties include but not limited to :
Written and oral communication with clients, opposing counsel and courtsDraft, file, serve and track general pleadingsMaintain multiple attorney calendarsCase management and calendar of case schedule, motion / deadlines, and other pertinent dates to the cases assigned.Organizing and maintaining client files in an electronic filing system.Meeting with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to talk about case details.E-filing pleadings with court and providing working copies.Drafting of Discovery (interrogatories, Subpoenas and Notices of Deposition).Prepare for mediation and / or settlement conference.Preparing asset / debt spreadsheets.Trial preparation.
