Business Office / AR2 / Medicaid Specialist

40 hour position

The position is responsible to support the Business Office in processing Medicaid Pending Applications, Applied Income discrepancies and Back Up to Resident Trust

Recommended Minimum Position Qualifications

• 1 year experience in LTC Medicaid
• 1-3 years of billing and collections in a long term care setting or other healthcare environment
• The ability to handle multiple priorities and possess strong communication skills.
• Excellent organization skills
• General Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Pending, Applied Income and Managed Care billing
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Electronic Claim Submission, and Billing Software programs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Our candidate should be a team player to work with the Business Office Manager and other facility team members to ensure the facility is successful in AR collections
