Research Intern, AI & Visual Computing

Job Description :

Futurewei has multiple openings for AI and Visual Computing Research Intern. Candidates will be responsible for

• Conduct Research in one of the areas of spatial computing, distributed architect, computer vision, graphic rendering, avatar animation, AI / ML modeling, and other technical areas related to XR and Metaverse.
• A specific research topic will be identified in the above area, and aimed for independent research work that is suitable for academic publication of IEEE journals or / and conferences.
• Work closely with other team members, jointly prototype, implement and evaluate algorithms; and optimize application or algorithm performance through analysis, code refactoring, and system tuning.
• Some industrial and academic collaboration, and professional community involvement.
