Process Engineer - Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement

Our client, a North American leader in their manufacturing niche, is seeking a Process Engineer for their largest facility in Charleston, SC. This role is ideal for a team-oriented professional with a proven track record of driving safety, quality, and operational excellence. The Process Engineer will lead initiatives that develop people, improve processes, and deliver value to the marketplace.

Location : Onsite in Charleston, SC

Eligibility : Must be a U.S. citizen or current green card holder

Responsibilities :

• Champion plant-wide safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate engineering standards.
• Ensure effective use of Control Plans for process stability.
• Monitor safety, first-pass quality, and productivity metrics.
• Serve as a process expert and driver of continuous improvement.
• Equip team members with resources and information for independent success.
• Apply statistical analysis to diagnose process concerns and performance gaps.
• Develop high-performing teams focused on results, collaboration, and self-sufficiency.
• Support TPM activities including data collection, maintenance planning, and process improvement.
• Lead Lean / Six Sigma projects to improve performance, reduce costs, and optimize cycle times.
