About The Role

A materials / shipping assistant supports the Materials Manager / Shipping Supervisor by overseeing daily operations such as inventory control, purchasing, and receiving, while also ensuring materials are available for production. Key responsibilities include tracking inventory, coordinating with suppliers, assisting warehouse logistics, back up supervisor in Shipping, maintaining records, internal auditor, and implementing process improvements to control costs and ensure efficiency. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to support the flow of materials from procurement to final delivery.

What You'll Accomplish

Inventory Management :

• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy and maintain defined inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory movement, usage, and location within the warehouse.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems, including the establishment of database parameters for software like MRP (Material Requirements Planning).

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma / Associates Degree

3-10 years broad manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications :

Working Conditions

Work in changing temperature environment (hot or cold)

Able to work with PPE requirements
