What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents as outlined by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Assist with managing access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entrances and exits as required.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, staff, and emergency personnel.

Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and site leadership.

Support a welcoming and secure environment for everyone at the location by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
