Job Summary :
The Senior Product Ops Analyst plays a key part in streamlining our product operations and enhancing our go-to-market (GTM) strategies through financial analysis.
You’ll effectively navigate the evolving business landscape, exerting influence across various teams to achieve operational excellence.
In this role you will assess, acquire and implement enterprise technologies and process to bolster transparency, prioritization and increase the efficiency of product managers and engineering leadership.
You’ll enable Product Leaders with key decision-making processes, including supporting them with financial analysis. You’ll support the leadership of product and engineering by running monthly and quarterly analysis and measuring leading and trailing indicators of success.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Implement, standardize and manage enterprise product and engineering tools across the organization.
- Run monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports and analysis, creating a package of flash reports for product and engineering leadership to manage the organization.
- Create, manage and update product development lifecycle processes that promote transparency, communication and sound business decision making.
- Support product managers in accelerating GTM success and efficiency with technology, tools and data analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-6 years financial planning or analysis, product ops, consulting, business / data analysis, or similar experience in a tech company
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Proven ability to select, implement, and manage a range of organizational tools, including Business Intelligence (BI), analytics, and software development tracking tools
- Experience building financial plans, analyzing data and creating dashboards and models to support better decision making and measuring / managing to trailing and leading indicators.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments
- Adept at problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
- Excellent documentation skills, including written and visual process mapping
Work Environment :
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual workstation, using telephone and computer
Physical Demands :
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer / copy machine
- This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
- The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone
