Responsibilities

• Be part of our highly collaborative team of Pulmonary / Critical Care providers (MD's and APP's).
• This is a blended position serving our eICU Service Center with rotation for Critical Care inpatients.
• Typically three 12-hour shifts, with a template for days, nights, weekends, and holiday rotation.
• 33% day eICU; 33% day IP; 33% night eICU.
• Evaluate patients, assess new consults, and round on existing IPs.
• Opportunity to credential to perform procedures (arterial lines, intubations, central lines at the bedside without physician oversight).
• IP coverage with Immanuel / Mercy / Lakeside with rotations to those campuses.
• Average IP volume 10-15 patients in the morning; 2-3 patients in the afternoon.
• No on-call requirement.
• Rotational holidays.
• The Service center / eICU is located across from the CUMC Bergan campus.
