Customer Care Specialist
Deliver excellent customer support, product guidance, and smooth store operations for a mission-driven reptile, amphibian, and invertebrate retailer.
FLSA : Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Schedule : Part-Time (15 hours per week)
Reports to : Customer Care Lead
Overview
The Customer Care Specialist provides exceptional service by assisting customers with product inquiries, reptile and amphibian care advice, sales transactions, and issue resolution. You will also maintain a clean, organized store, restock inventory, and support daily operations. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver knowledgeable customer service.
- Guide product selection and provide responsible pet care advice.
- Process transactions and returns accurately; maintain basic financial records.
- Restock shelves, manage inventory, and keep the store clean and organized.
- Log customer interactions; follow up to resolve feedback and issues promptly.
- Stay current on reptile care best practices and product updates.
- Assist with inventory tracking, shrink / loss reporting, and operational reports.
- Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and in-store events.
- Comply with OSHA safety protocols and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training to deepen product and care knowledge.
