Employment Type : Full Time / Hourly / Non-Exempt

Salary Information : $16.85 - $21.69 / Hourly

Who We Are

Continental Maritime of San Diego, a Titan company, is a certified Master Ship Repair Contractor for the U.S. Navy. Our skilled professionals have performed hundreds of ship repairs for the Navy and Military Sealift Command. CMSD does repair on all types of major surface vessels including CVN, CG, and DDG, and all types of amphibious ships including LHD, LHA, LSD, LPD, and auxiliary ships. Our work also includes repairs and alterations to a wide range of Combatant, Hull, Mechanical and Electrical, and Habitability Systems.

Position Specifics

The Production Support is responsible for the installation of plywood deck protection on ships during repairs, installing temporary firefighting systems, installing blowers and vent ducting. Further responsibilities include, but are not limited to, building containment / protective barriers with plastic, installing array covers, and assisting other trades as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have the ability to obtain forklift and man-lift certifications
• Familiarity with use of various hand tools
• Ability to obtain a DBIDS credential is required
• Must be available to work 1st & 2nd shift
• US Citizenship is required
