About the Role :
The Tax Senior will play a key role in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, supporting client relationships, and assisting in tax planning and compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and managers in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities :
Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary income tax returns
Conduct tax research and provide technical guidance on complex tax matters
Assist with tax planning and projections for high-net-worth individuals and business clients
Review client financial data to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with federal and state regulations
Identify opportunities for process improvements and tax savings strategies
Support client audits, IRS correspondence, and tax notices as needed
Build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive communication and advisory support
Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive team culture
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
3+ years of recent public accounting experience focused on tax
Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax compliance
Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
Strong interpersonal skills with a client-service mindset
