Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A middle school in Overland Park, KS is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 20252026 school year. This full-time position focuses on providing Social Emotional Resource support for students with high incidence disabilities, helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Provide social-emotional support and resources to middle school students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and municate effectively with parents and staff.

Qualifications :

Location : Overland Park, KS

Position Type : Full-time (37.5 hours per week), W-2 contract for the 2025-2026 school year
