Food Service Equipment is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment primarily in restaurants and grocery stores.

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose issues with commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment in restaurants and grocery stores.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair or replace defective components, such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
• Install new refrigeration systems according to manufacturer specifications.
• Test refrigeration systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
• Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Filling out work orders at the end of the job
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, including but not limited to compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerant types.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex refrigeration and cooking equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• EPA License Type 1, 2, 3, or universal
• Ability to work an on-call schedule

Schedule :

• 8 Hour shift M-F with potential for overtime
• On call Rotation weekend shifts (overtime paid )
