RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

• Work night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM
• No call responsibilities
• No floating to other departments
• Block scheduling allowed
• No 48-hour guarantee
• Maximum 1 week total RTO (request time off)
• No holiday RTO
• Patient ratio 1 : 4 in 8-bed emergency department
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS
• 1 year of experience required
• Tennessee or multistate license required
• Scrubs required in navy color
• Must be proficient in triage, medication administration, IVs, stroke / sepsis protocols
• Experience with Cerner EMR system required
• Provide care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the nursing process
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
• Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility
