Job Details

Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.

Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department.

Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.

Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with education and experience of staff available.

Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Job Requirements

BLS certification required.

ACLS certification required.

PALS (ARC / AHA ONLY) certification required.

Prefer 2 years of experience.

Tennessee or Multistate nursing license required.

Schedule Information

Shift : MIDS - 1 PM to 1 AM.

Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday as needed.

Emergency Department unit.
