Leasing Consultant

Salary: $15-$20/hr.

Wilcox Communities seeks to hire a full-time Leasing Consultant to join our Central Ohio team. This role could also work at various locations throughout Central Ohio based on portfolio needs. The Leasing Consultant will be someone that helps the Company achieve leasing goals and customer experience goals in the assigned Communities.

As a Leasing Consultant with Wilcox Communities your role will be a blend of:

Lead Management: You are the first point of contact for our prospective and current residents and responsible for responses and following up with potential residents to provide information about our communities and apartment homes. You will give guided tours of the Community and apartments and deeply knowledgeable about Wilcox Communities and what we have to offer to our residents in our homes and community amenities. Youre committed to success, and you are results driven.

Administrative Responsibilities: You will be assisting with new lease applications and other related processes, as well as coordinating the renewal lease process for current residents.

Customer Experience: You do the little things, as well as the big things, that show people you care. Creating memorable experiences that our customers will tell others about excites you. You understand that loyalty is earned by doing the unexpected and youre willing to ensure you and your team deliver on our goal of delivering outstanding customer experience no matter what the circumstance. Following up with current and prospective residents on feedback and concerns. Assisting with customer service and experience initiative and events throughout the Community

REQUIREMENTS

• Your Experience: Youve worked in a fast-paced, professional environment, you enjoy engaging and interacting with people and you are motivated by achieving defined sales goals.

• Working Weekends: Youll be required to work weekends as a part of your regular schedule. Your schedule will include regular days off that fall between Monday and Friday

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelors or Associate Degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Responsible, accountable and self-motivated
• Sales and/or property management experience
• Experience in a customer facing role with responsibilities including customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Responsible, accountable, and self-motivated, qualified individual will be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in management software is preferred (Entrata is a plus), Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Excellent understanding (or quick ability to learn) of Fair Housing Laws and Standards

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• DRIVERS LICENSE: This position may require some travel therefore, you must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• BACKGROUND: You must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
• FLSA STATUS: Full-time, non-exempt employee
• LOCATION: Central Ohio
• TRAVEL: Minimal / Occasionally required
• REPORTS TO: Community Manager
• SALARY: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour plus commission
