Havenwyck Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Intake Clinician to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Intake Clinician obtains initial clinical phone information which is communicated to the physician on call to make a final decision regarding admission. The Clinician may also schedule a clinical evaluation if appropriate for the client and contacts the physician who will make decision for the appropriate level of care : inpatient, day treatment or outpatient care. The Clinician will facilitate this process by assisting the client, family and referral sources. They also provide information to clients, families and referral sources regarding treatment programs, insurance and admission procedures as well as providing referral assistance for patients assessed as inappropriate for admission. Will also provide consultation to nurses regarding intake information and screenings.
