Tax Manager
We are partnering with a public accounting firm, in the Triangle, looking to add a Tax Manager to their team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our tax compliance and planning processes while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities :
- Review quarterly tax provisions and corporate, individual, trust, estate, S-Corp, foundation, partnership, and gift tax returns and provides written and verbal feedback to staff and interns.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the client’s tax compliance, including preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position and minimize liabilities.
- Conduct thorough research on tax issues and regulations to ensure compliance with changing laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tax guidance and support for various business initiatives and transactions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external tax advisors, auditors, and government agencies.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA required.
- 5 years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of ASC 740 accounting for income taxes.
- Team oriented, results oriented, with a commitment to client satisfaction.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
