Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule / Shift Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (18 : 45 - 07 : 15). Weekend coverage required every other weekend. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in Neuro Critical Care. The ideal candidate will have experience working specifically in a Neuro ICU setting. The unit specializes in treating stroke patients and other neurological conditions. This role requires advanced critical care skills and the ability to manage complex patient needs effectively. Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to patients in a Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Monitor and assess patients’ neurological status and vital signs. Administer medications and manage IV therapy. Perform arterial line management, central line care, and blood product administration. Utilize advanced equipment such as EVDs, lumbar drains, and ICP monitors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Support patients recovering from neurosurgery and manage post-operative complications. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in a Neuro ICU. Active certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
