The Regional Compliance Specialist ensures full compliance with federal, state, and Board policies across workforce programs administered within the Gulf Coast and five other regions served by SERCO across Texas. This position supports operations across six contracts and may be required to travel onsite as needed to workforce center locations. The role is primarily remote, with regional travel to support quality assurance, technical assistance, and performance improvement.

The Compliance Specialist monitors case management documentation, program performance data, customer service practices, and internal controls. They work closely with center leadership, program staff, and quality assurance teams to drive continuous improvement, prevent disallowed costs, and ensure outcomes meet or exceed contractual benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Monitoring & Risk Mitigation

• Conducts regular file reviews and case audits to ensure compliance with WIOA, TWC, and Board policies across Adult, Dislocated Worker, Youth, SNAP, TANF / Choices, NCP, and RESEA programs.
• Identifies non-compliant practices and collaborates with center staff to correct issues timely and prevent reoccurrence.
• Develops and maintains tracking logs to monitor recurring trends, performance gaps, and high-risk areas.
