Technical Accounting Manager

Alliance Laundry Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Accounting Manager to join our corporate accounting team. This role is responsible for leading the research, interpretation, and implementation of complex accounting standards to ensure our financial reporting complies with U.S. GAAP. The Technical Accounting Manager will serve as a subject matter expert, advising on the accounting implications of significant business transactions and ensuring consistency across the organization. This position reports directly to the Assistant Controller.

Responsibilities :

• Research, evaluate, and prepare technical accounting memos on a variety of topics
• Lead the quarterly and annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment analysis
• Oversee the implementation of new accounting pronouncements
• Support the company's internal control framework
• Review complex, non-standard journal entries and significant contracts
• Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly and annual reporting
• Document accounting policies or update existing policies for key business areas
• Assist with the development and presentation of internal training materials

Qualifications :

Travel : Occasional travel; 10% Standard and Physical Requirements : Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
