Responsibilities

The Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for the decontamination of instrumentation and equipment, preparation and packing of instrument trays, and the sterilization of instrumentation. They work closely with the departments such as OR, Dental Clinic, and Nursing units to ensure delivery and pick up of equipment and instruments throughout the hospital.
