Overview
CONTROLS / ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER role responsible for the design, development, and implementation of control systems to automate industrial processes and machinery. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to ensure efficient operation. Solid foundation in electrical engineering, control theory, and experience with automation software and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for automated processes and machinery
- Create detailed engineering specifications and documentation
- Collaborate with design, production, and maintenance teams
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems (examples : Allen-Bradley and Siemens)
- Implement and test control algorithms to optimize system performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions
- Conduct system analysis and risk assessments
- Provide technical support and training to engineering staff
- Integrate new technologies and processes into existing systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Manage control system projects from conception through completion

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldOne to two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum of 3-5 years in controls engineeringBenefits
