Job description

Position Overview:

Serves a consultative role for Sutter Health personnel/staff providing operational and functional knowledge to support the development of new/improved Information Services (IS) capabilities. Works with clients at all levels within Sutter Health as well as external entities to identify operational business requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow IS solution proposal development.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

  • Bachelor's: Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or Computer Science or related field


CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

  • DL-California Drivers Class C Upon Hire


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years recent relevant experience


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Verbal and writing skills to professionally communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to make presentations to provide information and instruction to audiences with minimal IS knowledge.
  • Ability to read and translate technical documents in order to further the interests of Sutter Health and its business requirements.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients, IS team members, management, and executive personnel/staff.
  • Ability to work as a part of a team or collaborate with colleagues from different departments to achieve a common goal or to gain better understanding of client needs.
  • Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify relevant concerns or factors.
  • Ability to set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with moderate direction or supervision.

Pay Range is $35.52 to $53.28 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
