About the Position

Job Summary :

The Nursing Station Tech (NST) serves the hospital patient population by providing constant overview of patient care area and monitoring of activity throughout the unit. Customer service, patient family support, and safety are primary responsibilities of this position. This position also includes clerical functions and specific patient care duties to facilitate efficient and comprehensive services. The House Supervisor / Nurse Director may re-assign to other units based on changes of volumes and acuity.
