Cleaning / Sanitation Assistant

Join our team as a Cleaning / Sanitation Assistant and take on a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for wiping down machinery and lab equipment, as well as performing various cleaning tasks throughout the facility. Your work will ensure a clean and safe environment for all employees.

Responsibilities :

• Wipe down machinery and lab equipment.
• Perform cleaning tasks throughout the manufacturing plant, including floors, drains, walls, exteriors, utility sinks, hand washing sinks, stairs, handrails, and catch fans.
• Clean the exterior of gearboxes and equipment framework.
• Scrub floors, mop, and apply foaming agents.
• Conduct COP (Cleaning Out of Place) cleaning inspections.
• Handle and work with chemicals safely, understanding the associated risks.

Work Environment :

The role is based in a loud but clean food manufacturing plant. You will play a critical role in managing spills and preventing contamination, ensuring the safety and quality of our products. The work schedule offers flexibility with shifts available from Monday to Friday, either 6 : 00am to 3 : 00pm or 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00 / hr.
