This hybrid role is Seattle-based, 2 days per week in-office.

As a Senior UX Researcher , you'll be a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, delivering robust and actionable insights that inform decisions across the product lifecycle. Your work will directly influence how we understand and serve our users - agents, landlords, and renters alike.

What You'll Do

Identify high-impact research opportunities : Ensure we’re asking the right questions to move the work forward and uncover meaningful insights

Partner with cross-functional teams : Deeply understand product goals, user needs, and the broader business context

Plan with purpose : Scope timelines that balance depth and speed, focusing effort where it will have the greatest impact

Lead end-to-end research initiatives : Own the full research process, from defining the right methods to delivering insights that shape product direction across the lifecycle

Communicate insights effectively : Craft compelling narratives that drive alignment and inform decision-making at all levels

Champion research quality : Uphold high standards while adapting to the pace and constraints of a fast-moving startup environment

Contribute to our design team’s culture and strategy : Foster collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning

Qualifications

5+ years of experience conducting research for digital products, preferably in fast-paced, startup or scale-up environments

Strong strategic thinking : You know how to connect user insights to business goals and product strategy

High research rigor paired with pragmatism : You know when to go deep and when to move fast

Excellent communication and storytelling skills , capable of translating complex findings to diverse audiences

Collaborative mindset : You excel as a collaborative team player and a self-starter, and know what it means to be both simultaneously

Adaptability : You navigate ambiguity with confidence and adjust quickly as priorities shift

Bias for action : You take initiative, move ideas forward, and focus on impact

Growth mindset : You continuously evolve your skills, embrace challenges, and help others grow alongside you

Experience designing and building tools in small, fast-moving teams

Background in behavioral sciences, such as psychology, anthropology, or sociology

Strong facilitation skills for workshops and cross-functional collaboration sessions
