Our client, a telecommunications company in Bothell, WA, is looking for a highly analytical and customer-focused 40-hour / week contract UX Researcher to support their consumer marketing team by providing actionable insights into customer experience.
This role will be responsible for gathering and analyzing customer data to ensure a clear and current view of customer journeys and their associated friction points. The UX Researcher will leverage qualitative, quantitative, and competitive data sources to uncover trends, inform strategy, and drive improvements.
With expertise in survey design, customer experience analytics, and advanced statistical tools, this individual will monitor the health of the customer experience, guide marketing decisions, and deliver research-backed recommendations. Prior experience working with telecom customer-level purchase and behavioral data is a strong plus.
This is a long-term contract and requires 5-days / week onsite in Bothell, WA.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct market and customer research to inform consumer marketing strategies.
- Design, implement, and analyze customer experience (CX) surveys to uncover insights into customer needs, perceptions, and pain points.
- Leverage available metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor the health of the customer experience and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform both qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, focus groups, surveys, and advanced data analysis.
- Analyze competitive data and industry benchmarks to provide context and identify best practices.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques (e.g., multivariate statistics, regression, factor analysis, clustering) to extract meaningful insights from customer data.
- Prepare research reports, presentations, and data visualizations in Excel and PowerPoint to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Partner with marketing, product, and customer experience teams to translate research insights into actionable strategies.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of proven experience in UX research, customer insights, or market research, preferably within consumer-focused industries.Strong expertise in CX survey design and customer experience analytics.Proficiency with Qualtrics XM, Excel, and PowerPoint.Hands-on experience with statistical tools such as SAS, R, or Python; strong background in multivariate statistics.Demonstrated ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.Experience working with telecom customer-level purchase and behavioral data strongly preferred.Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously.EEO Statement
