As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This driving post requires that you operate company or client vehicles as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and when appropriate, assisting in emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of staff, visitors, and contractors at the location.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with particular attention to areas relevant to chemical and petrochemical operations.Monitor for unusual activity and / or hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, and report findings promptly to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal management.Maintain awareness of site protocols, including any requirements for personal protective equipment and access controls, while performing patrols at the location.Communicate professionally with personnel on site to provide assistance, relay information, and support security-related needs as required.Minimum Requirements :
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
