As an Unarmed Security Guard - Access Control in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will be stationed at a chemical or petrochemical location, where your primary responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This position is a driving post. You will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.

Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or potential concerns within the chemical or petrochemical location.

Assist with implementing and following location-specific protocols related to chemical and petrochemical operations, as directed.

Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal to address security-related needs and concerns.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
