Role summary
You'll take customer needs from the U.S., convert them into engineering work for the India team, drive feature delivery, and lead triage when devices fail in the field. Key responsibilities
- Act as technical bridge between U.S. customers and India engineering teams.
- Own end-to-end program lifecycle : requirements delivery post-ship support.
- Lead triage & resolution of field issues across camera, audio, Bluetooth / Wi-Fi, power / thermal, and kernel / BSP.
- Translate customer feedback into structured engineering tasks and timelines; manage sprints and milestones.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, platform, QA) and run status updates for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with wearable standards (BLE profiles, FCC / CE, thermal limits).
- Maintain clear documentation and reporting for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's in EE, CS, or related.10+ years in technical program management or embedded systems engineering.Strong, hands-on experience with embedded Linux / RTOS / Android wearable platforms .Proven expertise in at least two of : Camera systems, Audio subsystems, Bluetooth / Wi-Fi stacks, Power / performance optimization, Kernel / BSP / device drivers.Experience debugging HW / SW integration issues (ADB, logcat, kernel logs).Experience working with distributed teams (U.S. India) and communicating directly with U.S. OEMs / customers.Excellent written & verbal communication and stakeholder management.Preferred
