Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Fargo, North Dakota (58104) – North Dakota nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care, Medical / Surgical Admissions Unit

Unit Size : 15 private beds

Assignment Duration : 13-week travel RN contract (Start : 1 / 5 / 2026, End : 4 / 6 / 2026)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : 12-hour rotating day / night shifts (0700-1930 or 1900-0730), every other weekend and holiday

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2050–$2200 per week

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 5 : 1 Days, 6 : 1 Nights

Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license eligible for North Dakota

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical / Surgical Registered Nurse experience

Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred

Proficiency with Epic charting system

BLS certification (AHA required)

Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced acute care environment

Willingness to float to other med / surg units as needed

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Perform initial admissions and deliver comprehensive care to patients awaiting unit assignment

Provide high-quality nursing care to general medical / surgical patients

Utilize Epic for electronic charting, Zebra phones for communication, Omnicell for medication management, and Aleris IV pumps

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital and clinical protocols

Participate in unit-specific training, orientation, and ongoing professional development
