ACCOUNTANT
Summary
This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Financial Management Division (FC), Office of Resource Management (FR).
This position(s) primary purpose is to support the manage the budgetary side of the general ledger and accounting system, preparing and executing external budgetary paperwork and reporting, and the technical work of allocating funding and coordinating data calls.

As a your typical work assignments may include :
- Preparing, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting accounting data.
- Operating, maintaining, and modifying accounting systems.
- Using accounting information to recommend solutions to management problems and structuring of organization programs.
- Managing, operating, and analyzing cost accounting systems in connection with manufacturing or other business activities.
- Designing, implementing, and assessing internal control processes and systems.
