Summary of Responsibilities :

This position will be responsible for all aspects surrounding the day-to-day operation of the Accounts Payable function :

• Process 3-point matching of invoice, PO and POD
• Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment
• Process invoices without Purchase Orders
• Process expense reports and credit cards
• Process AP checks
• Assist in month-end closing
• Post transactions to the general ledger
• Attach invoices to the check for signature
• Mail and log disbursed checks
• Scan and save entered invoices in the shared drive
• Solve issues on pending invoices
• Respond to vendor inquiries
• Maintain AP checks and files
• Assist with other projects as needed

A key focus of the position will be the development and execution of an Accounts Payable strategy that balances vendor discounts against payment terms to maximize operating cash flow.
