Warehouse Operations Manager
Overview
- Run a party rental warehouse, and develop warehouse operations systems.
- Create smooth processes from office to warehouse.
- Determine product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; refine processes for receiving product, picking, packing, routing, returning, equipment utilization, inventory management, and trucking; on-going education of warehouse staff.

Support SDPR general business operations by routing, sequencing, managing driver resources, and delivering outstanding Customer Service while controlling Operational Expenses. Interface with multiple contacts as necessary including : Senior Management, Customer Service, Delivery Team and Clients. Strong decision making and organizational skills while exercising independent judgment and discretion.

Dispatch Drivers and Driver HelpersTrack and supervise drivers while en routeAssist drivers with route schedules, delivery problems and logistics in the States of New Jersey, Connecticut, New York and PennsylvaniaMonitor Company routing software and check with drivers to find out if they are having difficulties making deliveries or pickups, reassign and redirect routing as necessaryDemonstrate good oral and written communications skills via telephone / radio with Co-workers and ClientsAdjust delivery and pick up sequences on routes to achieve site location time constraintsAdjust route departure times based on daily loading activity and traffic / weather conditionsEducation
