Location : CompleteOnSite at BurlingameCA
Mode : FullTime
Build on OS internals. Set technical direction for significantimprovements.
Develop APIs inthe systemlevel framework layer that allow other layers of thestack to implement compelling and performant use cases.
Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams of partners product managers and engineers to build anendtoend solution.
Work withApplication and Platform teams to debug functional performance andstability issues across thestack.
Uplift coding and designskills on the team through reviews and introduction of bestpractices. Model behaviors through clean readable code upfrontdebugability and testability when implementing complexcomponents.
Work closely withproduct management application software engineers and partners tounderstand requirements specify interfaces for new softwareframeworks and enhance existingframeworks.
Participate in designreviews and code reviews for theteam.
Requirements
WhatWe Are Looking For :
BS or MS inElectrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Typically requires a 4yeardegree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or anadvanced degree without experience;
or equivalent work experience.
Android / AOSP / CoreOS AndroidCore Frameworks Linux OS focus.
Experience with coding in C / C
Strong understanding lower level OS (core components / core OS)
Experience with EmbeddedSystems
Experience working withmicrocontrollers
Experience withdevice drivers
Microcontollers / bootloaders
3years experience with any of the following : Android internals AOSPZephyr RTOS or FreeRTOS development.
3 years of experience developingMCU or AOSP consumer electronicssystem.
Experience with systemperformance tools and debugging hardware.
Experience with Androidframeworks andservices
