Legal Department

The Legal team is responsible for managing the company's legal affairs from compliance through litigation, collaborating with departments such as Sales, Operations, Human Resources, and Innovation along the way. The Legal team also works closely with external law firms to develop a comprehensive legal strategy and manages these partners to address issues efficiently and effectively. Unlike many other companies where legal roles are purely advisory, Vantage distinguishes itself by granting our legal staff the authority to directly influence business decisions. This empowers our internal team to align legal strategies with long-term operational goals, risk management, and cost efficiency to deliver outcomes that support corporate objectives. This approach allows each team member to make significant, impactful decisions, driving substantial results for the company.

Position Overview

This role will be based in Denver, CO in alignment with our flexible work policy (3 days in, 2 days flexible).

The Senior Contract Analyst provides excellent attention to detail, proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to all matters. The Senior Contract Analyst works closely with the Legal, Construction and Finance departments to review and analyze construction contracts, vendor contracts, and work authorizations prior to finalization.

Essential Job Functions

Contract Review & Validation :

Review and analyze commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements, proposals, and other related documents for validation prior to the issuance of a contract.

Review scopes of work for conflicts with executed agreements.

Work Authorization Management :

Assist with preparation and execution of work authorizations (project authorizations, statements of work, and service orders), ensuring that work authorizations are consistent with executed contracts.

Work closely with Construction and Finance departments to facilitate timely execution of work authorizations.

Contract Facilitation & Compliance :

Facilitate construction contracts process and act as point person for the Legal Department.

Facilitate SharePoint or other contract management process flow for construction contracts.

Work with other departments within Vantage to update compliance processes to work more efficiently.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

Serve as a liaison between several departments within Vantage for legal, contract, financial, compliance items.

Analyze vendor quotes and change order requests for accuracy and alignment with contract terms.

Reporting & Tracking :

Prepare reports as needed to track progress of contract documents.

Administer and track workflow of contracts to make sure all are fully executed.

Onboarding Support :

Issue, collect, and update onboarding procedures and documentations.

Additional Duties :

Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Contract Management, or a related field preferred.

Paralegal certification preferred.

Experience :

5-8 years experience in a contract administration or contract analyst role.

Experience using enterprise resource planning or contract management software.

Experience in the construction industry.

Experience working in Yardi is a plus but not required.

Skills :

Strong written and verbal skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal and technical documents

Excellent organization, time management and problem-solving skills that enable the candidate to balance multiple responsibilities at once and consistently meet tight deadlines

Expertise in working with Microsoft applications, DocuSign, SharePoint

Impeccable integrity, credibility, character and ethics

Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details

Salary Range : $95,000 - $105,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
