As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for routine patrols and quick response to situations as they arise, leveraging your training and awareness to maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and when appropriate, engaging in emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and / or local authorities regarding any incidents or security-related matters.Document observations and incidents thoroughly in daily activity reports and / or incident reports as required by site procedures.Assist with access control procedures for visitors, employees, and contractors in accordance with location-specific guidelines.Remain alert to unusual or suspicious activities and respond according to site protocols.What We're Looking For :

Have a minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.Hold a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
