Frost Brown Todd LLP , a national law firm with 1000+ legal and business professionals across eighteen offices, is currently searching for a full-time Paralegal to join our Tax, Benefits and Estates Practice Group in Cincinnati. This role will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and facilitating communication for asset transfers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist Estate Planning and Administration attorneys with relevant plans, ancillary documents, client communications, and tax documents.
- Coordinate and communicate with financial planners, CPAs, and other outside FBT individuals for asset transfer during and after clients' lives.
- Conduct research related to real estate titling at courthouses or online.
- Prepare documents for real estate transfers as needed.
- Prepare corporate documents and minute books.
- Review and index document production.
- Organize and compile client documentation.
- Prepare IRS and State Tax Return documents, including Federal Estate and Gift Tax Returns and related state returns.
- Assist with drafting correspondence, court filings, transfer, and ancillary documents.
- Maintain electronic client files.
- Schedule conferences, client meetings, and court appearances.
Job Requirements :
Associate or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, or a bachelor's in an unrelated field with an ABA-approved paralegal certificate or relevant experience.At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal or in legal / tax services roles.Experience with the Internal Revenue Code preferred.Strong communication skills.Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other software.Detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of managing multifaceted projects independently.Problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and ask questions.Frost Brown Todd offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401k / profit sharing.
