Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary :

Provides basic preparation of the patient for ophthalmic tests, evaluation, or treatment ensuring quality patient services.

Work Schedule : 1.0 Fulltime. Days

1.0 Fulltime. Days

3 Days a week in Burnsville. 2 Days a week St. Louis Park.

Required Qualifications :

Certification through JCAHPO as an Ophthalmic Assistant is required within 2 year of hire date.

1)Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.

2)Detail oriented individual with strong human relations and organizational skills.

3)Ongoing certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant

Preferred Qualifications :

a) Satisfactory completion of an accredited home study course in Ophthalmic Assisting or

b) Satisfactory completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program or

c) Equivalent related experience.
